Sure maybe it makes a difference, but in the grand scheme of things it seems like pretty small potatoes. The one thing your math isnt taking into account is that the rotational energy required varies by the distace from center.ie, a 20 pound flywheel takes a LOT more energy to spin than a 20 pound driveshaft
